3 Men, 1 Hammer is one of the most infamous real-life snuff films and one of the most brutal to be leaked onto the internet - causing considerable shock as a result, sadly it is not the only snuff film to now be on the internet and many have noted a disturbing new trend for sociopaths and young criminals to post videos of similar brutalities, replacing the old-style tapes and notes as serial-killers and psychopaths take advantage of 21st century technology to fulfil their twisted pleasures.
3 Men, 1 Hammer was filmed by the Dnepropetrovsk Maniacs, a gang of sadistic Ukrainian killers who murdered 21 victims in senseless "Thrill Killing" sprees - even attending the funerals of their victims and collecting pictures of themselves laughing and flipping off the coffins.
3 Men, 1 Hammer is a seven minute recording of an actual torture-murder session in a wood, where they bludgeon an elderly victim's skull repeatedly with a hammer, then proceed to sadistically stab him multiple times with a screwdriver until he dies after prolonged agony and distress.
The sheer intensity of the murder and torture, as well as the way the teens laugh and generally dehumanize their victim (who they didn't know) has made it one of the more striking and controversial tapes on the internet and many debates have sparked due to it about the nature of morality as well as society and, of course, the intense debate on whether or not sites that show this tape should even be allowed to function.
A similar real-life snuff film known as 1 Maniac, 1 Pick holds a similar title to this tape but was seemingly made deliberately for an online audience while 3 Men, 1 Hammer was leaked onto the internet (though some believe one of the killers deliberately released it onto the web).
