Ahmad Suradji (1949-2008) was an Indonesian serial killer who killed 42 people, all of which were female, over a timespan of 11 years. He would trick his victims into believing that they would become rich and beautiful by his magic. When no one is looking, he would strangle the unfortunate victim. He would then bury the bodies in his sugarcane plantation, with the heads facing his house, as he believed that this act will give him supernatural powers. He was soon arrested and executed by firing squad in 2008.
