Not helped by that Steam created an exception to their refund policy allowing users to refund this game even if the game was played for more than two hours and also started disallowing publishers from posting screenshots of pre-rendered cutscenes and concept art as screenshots for games and while the updates did add and fixed some things, they didn't win everyone like Cygnus Destroyer and Darklordjadow1 over, considered one of if not the most disappointing game ever made and is seen as a cautionary tale of everything wrong with hype culture in AAA video games.

Simmons and James Franco, Topher Grace being miscasted as Eddie Brock as well as Venom's lack of screentime and how Peter acted with the symbiote with him not being himself just more ruthless, but acting more like a very arrogant and rude emo where it's hard to see if he feels tormented or not since he's seen dancing during a montage after getting Eddie fired and the infamous dance scene that precedes Peter hitting Mary Jane and finally forcibly taking the symbiote off.
  • Star Trek: Nemesis, just a controversial film, that, despite being Tom Hardy's first role, was criticized for ripping off Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan, Shinzon & that the storyline felt tired.
  • Star Wars: The Last Jedi, just a controversial film that, despite being praised for its ensemble cast, visual effects, musical score, action sequences and emotional weight, was heavily criticized by fans for being too focused on pushing an SJW agenda by trying to make Poe come off as irrational just to make Admiral Holdo look better by comparison as well as Rey going through less struggles than Luke and adding Rose Tico in for forced diversity and robbing Finn of his heroic sacrifice, despite it being seen a metaphorical depiction of the baby boomer generation handing off leadership roles to younger generations by critics, adding humor at inappropriate times such as Poe's "Your mom" phone-call and Luke tossing his former lightsaber over his shoulder, ignoring or jossing fan theories that were held so strongly that it was difficult for some viewers to accept different stories, Holdo weaponizing lightspeed & not telling anyone her plan until the last minute, Snoke being underdeveloped and used as a distraction just to kill him off and have Kylo Ren as the villain, Finn and Rose’s journey to Canto Bight being a slow, pointless distraction and a unsubtle reference to the 1%, only to kill off Captain Phasma and Luke's portrayal, which rubbed both fans and Mark Hamill himself the wrong way, because of his more pessimistic outlook, wanting the Jedi to end, despite the dumb decisions they made and for trying to kill Kylo out of paranoia that he would be turn on him, though he doesn't go through with it and is seen as a cautionary tale of expectations vs. reality and what happens when you try to be too ambitious and trying to push your political views in a film, to the point that several critics who had praised it were met with several death threats and insults for being too lenient on the film, though Rose's actress, Kelly Marie Tran, former head of Star Wars, Kathleen Kennedy and director Rian Johnson also got death threats as well only for the latter two to act like Paul Feig.
  • Star Wars Prequel Trilogy, just a controversial film trilogy that's criticized for bad acting, weak romances, bad writing, saying midi-chlorians are involved with The Force, Anakin's portrayal before becoming Vader, using more CGI, plot holes, causing some re-edits in the Original Trilogy and Jar Jar Binks, though it has defenders which WatchMojo's video underestimated as there were some things done better than the Original Trilogy and spawned Vader's Big No and Obi-Wan's "You Were The Chosen One!"
  • Strawinsky and the Mysterious House, just an animated film that, while praised for the Rat King and the Globglobgabgalab's songs and having most of the models faithful to the audio mini-series, was criticized for its rancid morals, obvious Christian allegories, an extremely confusing plot that is hard to even remotely understand, horrendous and low budget animation, confusing character designs, cringe-worthy songs with horrendous singing voices, bad voice acting, very poor lip-syncing and the fact that director David Hutter gave Saberspark a copyright strike and forced him to take his review of the movie down, even though it fell under Fair Use, simply because he didn't like that he criticized it, though it got re-uploaded by Kendrick Axolote.
  • Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li, just a controversial movie that was criticized for the actors being horribly miscast in their roles and taking itself way too seriously.
  • Suicide Squad, just a controversial film that, despite the cast, good soundtrack and decent action, was criticized for its very rushed and confusing plot since the script was written in just 6 weeks, executive meddling, underutilizing some of the members, having Joker marketed as the villain, only to reveal that he was just a minor character due to most of his scenes being cut in post-production, Enchantress, major plot holes and neon-heavy visuals that don't blend well with the overly dark scenes, most of which take place at night.
  • Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2, just a controversial film that was criticized for trying to cash in on the success of other superhero films at the time, but it ended up being bland and uninspired, horrible acting, effects worse than the first film and having nothing to do with the original movie and considered one of the worst films ever made.

  • Null & Annoyed, just a controversial episode that, despite Jay & Silent Bob appearing as security guards, caused fans & critics to turn on Ralph Dibny since it was criticized for being another personal growth story for him after he's had so many, him spending the entire episode being obnoxious to the other team members, especially Barry, who most people sided with, despite that they were supposed to be side with Ralph, how his screentime could have gone to Iris, who had just decided to be a journalist again, or Cisco & Caitlin, his hypocritical rebuttal to Iris & his sob story about cracking jokes during times of crisis, though everyone still didn't want him to die. 

Game of Thrones

  • Mother's Mercy, just a controversial episode that confused viewers over whether Jon Snow was killed off or not & it turned out he wasn't as well as Cersei's infamous walk of atonement, since Dubrovnik strongly opposed the idea, due to it being immoral to walk their sacred grounds naked. 
  • The Rains of Castamere, just a controversial episode that killed off Robb Stark, his mother, his wife, his pet wolf & all of his bannermen, which sent Twitter into a meltdown to express their dismay, shock and anger at what happened, even affecting Richard Madden, Robb's actor & George R.R. Martin said in response: "I killed Ned because everybody thinks he’s the hero and that, sure, he’s going to get into trouble, but then he’ll somehow get out of it. The next predictable thing is to think his eldest son is going to rise up and avenge his father. And everybody is going to expect that. So immediately killing Robb became the next thing I had to do".

I do think we've done enough on the show and we've delivered a story that people have enjoyed to warrant fans giving us the benefit of the doubt. I truly hope that people will see the Season 7 premiere and feel it justifies the way we've decided to tell the story."
